My Mindfulness is a workplace wellness program concept that I developed and refined over the course of my master’s program.
My Mindfulness was designed to educate employees about managing stress, to reduce negative outcomes for their health and productivity. The program can be scaled to accommodate small, medium, and large-sized organizations. The program’s key components include mindfulness training, meditation sessions, and educating participants about other stress-reduction and conflict resolution techniques. If appropriate for the audience, movement meditations can be incorporated to promote physical activity.
For the final Capstone course, I removed the in-person components to make the program viable for a completely remote staff, as many organizations operate this way while the Covid-19 pandemic continues to affect our nation’s workforce. In this iteration, I developed a framework for how the program could be adapted for a fictitious education technology company called “Company E”.
